HOW IT WORKS
Fore Country creates opportunities for Special Operations service members and community members to pair together in a golf foursome by working with golf courses and country clubs around the nation and through generous donations from our sponsors.
A Fore Country golf event has three steps:
The SOF Overview:
The Fore Country Ambassador will provide an overview to participants prior to the scheduled golf outing. The presentation will cover several topics that include the unique SOF mission, units, core tasks, skills and capabilities, the SOF Truth, as well as an understanding of how Fore Country supports Operators and their families.
The Golf Outing:
Each team receives background information on their partners which is exchanged over the duration of their 18 holes together. Here the foursome shares professional experiences, develop fellowship and understanding in a natural setting.
The Follow Up:
Teams exchange professional networks that enable a lasting friendship, future employment, and community partnership.
