HOW IT WORKS

 FORE COUNTRY

CONNECTS

SPECIAL FORCES

AND

COMMUNITY MEMBERS

The method is simple; Fore Country provides access to Special Operator and community members.  Special Operators are paired with civilian neighbors in a foursome for golf.  Fore Country helps facilitate the golf outing by working with the golf course or country club.  Through 18 holes of the walk, the group bonds through a shared experience while getting to know one another personally.

A Fore Country golf event has three steps:

The SOF Overview:

Prior to the scheduled golf outing a Fore Country Ambassador will provide an overview to the participants.  The presentation will cover topics to include an overview of the unique SOF mission and units, expertise on SOF Truths and Core Tasks, skills and capabilities, coupled with an understanding of how Fore Country supports Special Operators and their families.

The Golf Outing:

The team is primed with background information on their pairing partners and the team bonds naturally through professional exchange, fellowship, trials and tribulations over 18 holes on the golf course together.

The Follow Up:

Professional network to teach, coach, and mentor.  Lasting friendship, future employment or recruiting opportunity, community partnership in SOF unit events, experiences, tributes.
